IF you’re considering another vehicle, this is def the market to trade in and grab a great SUV. I dont know what your budget is so i can’t help you with what suv though

I have a Mercedes GLE and love it! Plenty of space for a car seat. The salesman actually thought I was a mom when I was shopping and that was one of his sales points to me. My boyfriend and I now call my car the mama Benz because of this!

You'd be paying more for the car you're buying as well

Yeah, I’m just trying to think if an X1 is a good car to keep for the longer term anyway, since my wife keeps saying she wants something slightly bigger. So if we’re going to trade maybe do it now while I can get more for my car? It only has 21K miles right now though.

Get a 4Runner.

I would say bigger and better…

I echo GLE too - I recently got a GLE450 and love it! It’s a solid car, with loads of luxury and lot of space both for car seat and in the trunk!

VW atlas. I love it and has tons of space, power and captains chairs (with a 3rd row) I have 3 kids and def love this choice over a mini van.

How old and how many miles?? BMW X1 are not great long term cars. If it’s old or high mileage then definitely trade in

Once it hits 50K definitely sell

Tesla Model Y

What you make in selling is what you pay while buying. SUV rec: Kia Telluride, best rated SUV, model Y or rogue if you are into midsize

The market is up to sell but it is also up to buy so if you’re selling to profit then you should make sure there’s a car in your price range that you’d want to buy to keep the profit

Yes trade it in. 1- BMW = big money wasted 2- maintenance on a BMW will get more expensive as you keep it 3- late model BMWs are crap made for people who don’t know cars. 4- in most states you also get to offset sales tax on new car leases or purchases by the trade value. Used car market is hot. You won’t get more for it now than you will in the future.

Any advice for approaching a maternity leave conversation when my company has no policy, no HR dept and I have no contract? I’m a partner shareholder in my company (we’re not in the US), 19 wks pregnant. I know the time off and pay I’d like to negotiate, but my partners are male and weird about money. I’m underpaid in a very senior 6 yr position, my job is stressful and around the clock, so I want proper leave. I can’t afford childcare and our govt stat leave is terrible, it won’t pay my bills.
