I would do the same if I were you. Congratulations, btw!
Most women don’t share pregnancy until 4-5 months which is totally normal 😊. That gives you job 4-5 months heads up before your maternity leave.
Congratulations 🎉 I would do the same.
Congrats! Wait til you feel comfy
If u have parental leave most companies ask for 60 days notice til you need to start leave so take your time mama💚
Congratulations. I agree with you on waiting. Sending prayers for a smooth sailing pregnancy and transition into you new role.
Totally wait! I once hired someone who I knew was four months pregnant but most people shouldn’t share.
Congratulations Mama!!!🎉 I agree with you, I would wait. I was 7 months when I started my current role, so I really didn’t have a choice, but if I did, I wouldn’t have shared until I was 20w or comfortable with sharing!
I’d wait to share, until you feel you’re in the clear in terms of miscarriages. Best of luck with your pregnancy!!
I recently hired a woman who disclosed she was due in December, it’s not a big deal to me, and she voluntarily disclosed it and asked about maternity leave. I thought that was brave and I definitely think as a female leader it’s good to set the example of not allowing that to get in the way of a good hire. To not even have it be a thing!
This is so good to hear. I wish I’d been able to confidently ask about leave and such during the interviews but given my history I didn’t think it much to discuss. I was also worried if they knew, they wouldn’t have hired me but if I miscarried again it wasn’t something worth discussing anymore so I didn’t. If I don’t qualify for any leave, it’s worth leaving my oh so toxic current employer during this time anyway. I just couldn’t stay there another day so I’m happy to be moving on.
Congratulations mama 🤰🎉.
I would totally wait.
Praying for a very smooth pregnancy♥️🙏🏽
I started a job 11 weeks pregnant as well and didn't say anything until I was over my probation (3 months) and they can't legally fire you at the point. Everyone was actually supportive except one women but she hated everyone and everything
You don’t need to share it with them.
