Hey ladies. How long into your pregnancy did you maintain your M-Th travel schedule?

I stopped around 32 weeks

Traveled till end of 8 months..

I’m currently 24 weeks (due end of May), was planning to stop traveling end of March and work from home all through April. I plan to start my leave first week of May.

With that being said, my engagement didn’t get extended and I’m currently on the bench so my plans are kind of up in the air outside of starting my leave 4 weeks ahead of my scheduled due date - that won’t change.

Just finished my last travel this week, and I’m currently at 31 weeks.
Told my partner/coach/manager/HR that this would be the last week of travel a few months ago

34 weeks. Doc said flying ok until 36 but that seemed to be pushing it to me.

It may depend on your project / client what you decide. I did full time travel until 32 weeks then partial travel through week 35 but if I hadn’t been on a project I felt really strongly about I would have stopped earlier...

36. Felt great the entire pregnancy. Now preg with baby #2 and moved to industry job but would not travel at ALL as I’ve been feeling like crud

I was supposed to go till 36 and didn’t feel good enough to make it so 35 weeks was my last.

5 months with first kid because of complications, but 36 weeks with second kid (easy pregnancy)

Awesome, thanks y’all!

Asked for a LOA because I just got bad medical news and want time to process & find surgeons (I have to decide between staying in constant pain or being able to have kids one day). HR said it’s not a valid reason & I’ll lose my insurance at the end of the month if I take leave. They want me to use my 5 days of sick time & return to work after. I have an underlying autoimmune issue & need to save my sick days in case of a flare up. Ranting, but a reminder that companies don’t care about anyone

Has anyone just been feeling pretty sad and down these past few months? I’ve never really felt this way pre-pandemic but now no matter what I do (workout, talk to friends, yoga) I still feel waves of sadness. I live in a cold city with strict covid lockdowns so I know that that is contributing to my sadness but just wanted to see if anyone else feels like this and how you are coping? I also haven’t traveled or gone on many social outings since last March so Ik that is taking a toll on me as well

I am a field marketer. I travel and cover 12 states. HQ is across the US on the east coast. My manager put a surprise calendar invite twice now to go to home office without consulting dates to see if we were available. I stood up and asked to be included on available dates and said I will attend virtually but asking me to be away for 4 additional full days away from my family without asking me is not OK. I already travel a lot and this boundary is super important to me. Am I right or wrong?

Insurance question. Change to husband’s insurance which has higher premiums but no deductible and 100% coverage for certain services. Or stay on my high deductible plan with large deductible but I have the HSA? Other option would be just to move kids to my husbands, they use a decent amount of healthcare between doctors and therapists, and keep myself on high deductible so that I can contribute to HSA (although firm match may be lower).

Is it sad that I want to take mental health leave desperately but am worried if I leave in the next month I’ll screw over my team who is already short staffed and has a huge case that’s going to trial at the end of the month? Has anyone taken leave and planned the start date for a few weeks out? Should I worry that I’ll be penalized or given the cold shoulder if I leave now or in the next 2 weeks?

I posted here some months back about my ectopic pregnancies but today, I'm posting to tell you all to hang in there and God will do it for you. (Please don't insult me of you don't believe in God because I strongly do).
In a nut shell, we had baby #1 without trying. Started trying for #2 and over 2 years, I had 4 miscarriages and 2 ectopics. In July, my doc informed me that the only way forward was through IVF. I was tired and confused. I PRAYED! and continued trying. (The rest in the comments.)

Would really love to help my lovely sister in law find a job in NYC or CT. She is a certified nutritionist, celebrity personal chef (her current job in Aspen but she is moving to Westport in January) and an all-around terrific, dedicated, hardworking person. She gets down around the holidays because she's single and doesn't have kids, but is an amazing aunt to our kids. Does anyone have any leads in the health/ wellness space? Im in biglaw and this is out of my depth a bit. TIA, Happy Holidays!

I (36F) am married to another woman (34F) and we have a baby (5moF). We split all childcare, cleaning, meal prep, errands etc fairly evenly and it works well. Maybe she cooks more than I do bc she likes it, and I clean more bc I need to have a clean house. My friend (35F) recently took a business trip and literally put a binder together with instructions for her husband re: daycare drop off and pick up, what to feed the kids, when to take out the trash and so on.
