I love the idea but more for leisure travel than work. I’m normally at the same hotel for a long time so leave products there - but it’s a hassle for weekend trips when I care more about my appearance/have nights out or special events and need supplemental products

like

Thank you! This is a super interesting point and one I didn’t consider. I definitely agree it is annoying on weekend trips when you want to look your best and can’t fit all beauty products! Really appreciate the response.

Hi! Love where this is going (post Covid). My only feedback is I wouldn’t trust having this delivered to my hotel / destination. With delays and the fact that hotels are horrible at accepting packages (in my experience)

Hey! Thank you so much. That’s a really great point and I appreciate your honesty! That is certainly something that will need to be researched & considered.

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

here's my prediction.

If Biden wins, the media will begin to message the following;

-The worst COVID risks and outcomes are to people with identifiable risk factors such as obesity and diabetes.

-Most other people who catch it will experience a bad flu.

-Many other people who catch it won't even know they have it.

-It's not commonly transmitted by touching objects and person to person transmittal is low risk except in close contact.

The media will then message that we should;

Asked for a raise and was shot down due to Covid and essentially told they make more (were talking a 30k) bc they don’t have my “other responsibilities” aKa my two kids. I know my productivity is effected by parental responsibility but I don’t feel that alone justifies the difference. I know our billable output isn’t drastically different. I've just recently been hired as an assistant manager at a Canadian outlet store. It's a small company in comparison to others, but there are over 10 locations spanning western Canada and NW united states. I'm curious as to what others in a similar position are getting as salary. I was offered $42k plus bonuses at the interview, but when called back I was offered $44.5k plus bonuses. I already accepted. Did I leave money on the table here?

Serious question - is there a reverse FIRE strategy? I like the idea of saving and retiring early, but the one hiccup I see (and sorry if this is grim) is if you die earlier than expected. I’d be worried that I would minimize lifestyle and fun for retirement at 50 but I’d die at 49. How about a way to work 9 months out of the year and retire/travel/relax for 3 months? This way you guaranteed your dreams/etc. are fulfilled

For the Protiviti fishes, were you onsight before Covid? I keep seeing jobs that say the roles with Protiviti are hybrid. Do you think the company will eventually move away from remote? A recruiter reached out to me but couldn't answer my question about remote now or in the near future. It was very vague.

I recently left a company because I didn’t see eye to eye with management about recruitment. The company I worked for regularly touts its commitment to D&I but in the recruitment process my candidates were routinely exited for having natural hair, being too old, too “urban”, etc. I’m not looking to bitterly blow up their spot but I feel like someone needs to be aware of this. This was done at the higher levels of local leadership and I have no connection with anyone in corporate. What to do?

The PE culture is sick. The 20 something VP was rude to our partner because our team took thanksgiving and the day before off and it was in the engagement letter that we were gonna be off. Hi ladies! Need your opinion and advice on a slightly awkward topic
I recently started dating this guy. He is really good in bed (well endowed, good stamina, great foreplay, etc). But he doesn’t cum after sex. Our sex routine normally ends at either of us getting tired after a long run but not him cuming. We’ve been together for the last 4-5 days and have done it many times (early phases of a relationship). And he came only once.
Is this something I should be worried about? Does this mean
