I got an offer from my 2nd choice and I need to give my answer today. My 1st choice has been speeding up the process for me. I have my last interview tomorrow morning (yes, on Saturday)! I don’t know what to do: should I accept the offer and when My 1st choice offers me the job I turn down the offer from my 2nd choice? Should I ask for extra time even tho my 2nd choice was clear about the deadline

Is it normal to get ghosted after interviews?

What are some good question to ask interviewers? I have an interview with one of the big 4 and haven't had an interview in ages, so I'm a bit rusty. Most of the suggestion I'm getting are stuff which can easily be answered by having a look at the company's website. I don't want to come off as if I haven't done my research by asking such questions.

How do you leave consulting when working hours that leave you without energy or flexibility to book interviews? Do you apply for leave to begin the process? Save up a few weeks of vacation?

Real Talk: everyone complains about how many apps they send in and how many interviews don’t pan out in product. I just landed my 2nd product role in 2 years with pretty minimal interviewing. I wasn’t interviewing with or looking for a role at a FAANG or the latest greatest almost unicorn but I know what I want. I don’t think I’m great at interviewing but overall (even outside of product) I’ve gotten offers with not that much work tbh. What’s your experience here?

Base: 175k
Quarterly Bonus: 15% Target
Annual Bonus: 15% Target
Initial RSU: 50k/4Yr.
Performance based Annual Stock Award: up to 80k/5 yr.
Initial Cash Bonus: None

I am in process of negotiating this higher to see what else they can offer and feel I would like to see the base, initial RSU and the cash bonus be modified. What do you think? Any tips?

So Altman clearly beats out MBB in some sectors and is trying to position themselves as an MBB or perhaps tier 2 equivalent, but they’re just not matching the salaries. Why were Analyst salaries only raised to $95K when my friends at big firms (not just tier 2 but also MBB) will be making $100-120k as second years?

Does anyone else struggle when communicating with their exec? Mine is someone who you need to ask lots of questions to because they change their minds every second but then they don’t respond when I ask. I’ve tried to have daily catch ups but they’re always cancelled and I just feel so unmotivated, like no matter what I can’t do a good job, so why even bother? GSuites - gmail (tips on types what folders to create to separate everything/tips), expensify (what is it for? How do I expense something through it?) and any templates for taking minutes.
