I am an hourly employee. Currently if there is a hospital call that needs to be done, someone will volunteer to do it for overtime. Now, my company wants to create a set call schedule. Anyone here do HR for an organization with both union and non union employees? My organization is very small consisting of 8 union employees and 7 non union employees. I’m a 24 year-old, Digital Marketing Manager, whom recently received an offer for a Marketing Director position with a tech startup. Impostor syndrome would be an understatement at this moment.

CTR, contracts and department overhaul

our marketing dept is undergoing a complete overhaul. under old leadership, a $75k 12-mo contract was signed to a marketing group that handles our SEO, blog and everything Google Ads. All things I can and am in training to do. Current CTRs on G ads seem pitiful at no more than 0.75%. My meta ads coast around 4-6%. During this overhaul, would it be wise to not renew our contract, and negotiate for me to take over these roles and leverage a raise?

I’m interviewing for a Director of Marketing and Communications role. Although it’s a little bit of a stretch with things I’ve never done before, I think I could do it. However I’m having a bit of imposter syndrome due to my age (27).

I’m worried they’ll take one look at me and assume I’m too young to handle it. Same goes for anyone I’d be managing.

Job offer dilemma:
I am currently at a crossroads. I got two job offers: Digital Marketing Specialist at a global agency ($58k) and a Print Marketing Specialist at a grocery chain ($70k). Anyone worked with a B2B marketing firm that understood your keyword SEO and appointment generation?

I feel like I’m getting burnt out of marketing after ~6 years of being in the workforce. I’m considering a pivot into product management or uxui design, as I’ve always been a “generalist” in my marketing skill set and both of those functions represent about 25% of what I do on a day to day.
