Physical or learning?
Lol yes, physical. He exceeds in his cognitive development, this is purely a physical growth concern.
Chief
We have not but my father in law was telling us a story about how his brother was really tiny as a kid and they finally figured out it was a thyroid issue. Once treated now as an adult he’s almost six feet
This is helpful to know. Hope it’s either nothing or something with a simple treatment🤞🏼
For added context, there no concerns of nutritional deficits. He eats really well and well rounded and his weight has remained stable.
Make sure you ask for a karyotype - it’s just a simple blood test and will rule out the mosaic “male” form of Turner Syndrome.

You have a lovely attitude OP and I’m sure your son will do well. People just say ridiculous things like they ask me if I’m able to drive a car or am I tall enough to ride a roller coaster. Has happened to me in professional work settings believe it or not, multiple times. All I’ve ever wanted is to just blend in. It’s crazy because I was also a Division I NCAA athlete (not gymnastics haha) and my FIL claimed that my legs are bowed / deformed. Like I could be a serious athlete if I had an actual skeletal issue. Bottom line is that Turners is a massive spectrum and like you said the best thing is to focus on health while also not manufacturing health issues where they don’t exist. It’s so easy to read stuff online and buy into a self fulfilling prophecy.
My brother was crazy skinny when he was a kid. Parent took him to an endocrinologist as well and did some diet adjustments. He’s grown now and the tallest one in our family!
Was he skinny and short? Or just skinny? My sons weight is normal, he only fell of the growth curve for height. I should have specified that.
Check the mineral level then. And if it is all normal just give some time if only the height is concern
Thank you, I’ll ask if we can check for this too. Anything specific in regards to mineral levels to look out for?
