Use both their site and instacart. It’s worth it from the perspective that you don’t have to go through the headache of shopping in Costco, and obviously saving time. But you are paying a premium for that service. The prices on the site are pretty close to what’s in the store and most items have free delivery - so that’s a no brainer for me. Instacart is more expensive so I only use that if I’m in a bind.
Yes
I use it all the time! If I went in person (I don’t have a car) I would have to Uber back from Costco. so I consider the Instacart fee amount to be similar to the car fee
The regular costco site has limited item selection so i might use it for some dried goods but not for grocery. Instacart is more expensive but worth it if you buy when theres a promo (i.e. theres a free 3mo instacart express pass on google pay app and theres often $10 off $35 purchase which roughly covers fees, taxes and tip depending on order size). I believe you do need to have a linked costco account to use instacart but see if you can share a membership with a friend/family
I only use Costco site since it’s much more affordable/cheaper
Thanks for the responses here.
Quick follow-up: (1) can you use the instacart without having a Costco account? And (2) why use Instacart if the regular Costco site is cheaper?

I think this person is asking why go through instacart app instead of through the costco app (which you can shop instacart on)
Also if you do it through same day Costco, you get that 2% back as executive membership
