Hi all, Next week, my interview was scheduled in Salesforce triage support engineer role. I have some doubt please clarify me! 1. What are the questions for triage support engineer? 2. What they will prefer? 3. How do I prefer for my interview? 4. What is the salary package for this role? I have three years experience. Please guide me!
Currently interviewing with Facebook (Meta) and looking for advice from other Technical Recruiters that recently joined. I’d be leaving a great company after less than 1 year, but I’d get the chance to upgrade my leveling (perhaps even mgmt) with the bonus of getting experience at a FAANG company. Try to go over the lunchtime hour. I think that’s very telling about the culture/work life balance. Are people sitting quietly at their desk working through lunch? Are people hanging out together in a common space eating? Is it a ghost town because people are able to step away and go grab something?
“To be interesting, be interested.” Ask questions, make them feel comfortable around you. Make them feel like they want to spend 10 hours a day with you (I know it’s Covid and a weird thing to say but more philosophically).
Ask challenging questions in a nice, “great listener” kind of way. Keeps them on their toes and think you’re a bit hard to get while giving them an opportunity to vent. Make them feel safe around you and like you are there to help.
“What’s the culture like here?” “How are the relationships between departments?” “What’s a good day and a bad like?” “How can I make your life easy?” “What do you believe I should be doing my first week/month here?”
Also do research on everyone and nonchalantly talk about their top themes in a way that relates to you. Eg if you saw a YouTube interview about one of them saying they have a side hustle, talk about your experience with side hustles and you’ll see their face light up and then jump on that. Or if a creative went to science university, mention you majored in science in high school and you believe creativity needs the same rigor as science or whatever (just making things up for examples)
Thanks 😊, so helpful

Ask them to show you around the office to get the general vibe. Decide if you can picture yourself working there.
See if they have a nice, light, open space for the Creative Dept. Ask if there are other facilities like an Edit Suite, Recording Booth, a Studio with designers, Digital Production with developers. Make sure the Accounts Dept is separate from the Creatives, ideally on a lower floor. 😏
Ask where everyone eats lunch, where there is space for Creatives to brainstorm.
Then normally I’d say try to meet everyone you’ll be working with. But stand 6 feet away and don’t shake hands!
Thanks, that’s so helpful, pple are back to offices July1st in Germany 😷
