Hey you! :)

Are you looking to focus solely on interviewing or would you also like to grow into the position and become an HR Generalist?

I have an open position now as an HR Generalist at a client I really really like, which is a brand new game studio.

I just won’t work there myself because I love my team too much. Otherwise, I wouldn’t think twice!

The work is fully remote, and they def need someone in the West Coast, since you will be working with someone who lives in Hawaii (and OMG, she’s a loooot of fun!)

The salary is $80k and you could grow to become an HR Manager in the next year or so.

Send me a nothing you’re interested, please! I will record a quick video with them this coming Tuesday, so people can get a better sense of their vibe. :)

Am interested

I have a (fully remote) great team, ET working hours with trips to HQ in Paris - Please DM me to talk further if you want to explore! And agreed with others in the thread, you should be asking for 100-120k.

If OP passes on the opportunity, I would love to hear more.

Just a heads up, if you have 4 YOE in tech recruiting don’t settle for less than $90k.

Please don’t tell anyone that salary . At 4 years you shouldn’t be under 100K . I’m at 3 YOE and I make 130K

Do you guys need another recruiter in your companies? I am also a recruiter with over 6 years of experience. I am located in New Jersey

Definitely you should be paid way more than that if you’re an in-house recruiter. Happy to hop on a call to go over a strategy on applying. 🙌🏼

My TA Coordinators make $80,000 plus overtime plus 5% bonus plus RSU

I am hiring for my team. My firm is tech focused, fully remote, direct relationship staffing. We are a good crew! Send me a DM.

You should be targeting a min of 100k. If you play your cards right 150k is doable at 4 YOE and then 200k at 5 YOE.

Hello! Vmware is hiring! Please email me if you want to learn more. jparton@vmware.com

At 4 years I’d recommend joining an RPO at larger technology focused company. Conversion within 6-18 months after should get you a fairly solid offer.

I am working on a few roles! Email me! Lpearce@atlassearchllc.com

Currently a consultant at a B4, going to Stanford GSB in the fall, with goal of transitioning to VC. What are some steps I should take now proactively to best position myself for transitioning into VC?

For context, I do have startup experience (2.5 years founding a startup that I then left for consulting, startup is still going strong now with other cofounders, ~$30M in valuation). Most of work in consulting was technology strategy and some operations (cost-cutting, etc.).

Thanks in advance!

My company wants us to update our LinkedIn with a stylized, employer branded headshot and background image. Has anyone run into this? It feels like it impedes a bit on the professional story I’ve been building of which this position is a part but not the totality. Anyone encountered this? Pushed back?

Just need to vent. Our school district announced that the fall will be fully remote. Starting from June the district kept promising that schools will reopen for in person classes. The district conducted a survey, which showed that almost 90% of parents voted for in-person or hybrid (more for in-person actually). Then another survey that gave similar results. Then the teachers voted. Surprise, surprise-90% for remote. Continued in comments.

Has anyone had experience working as a pentester and/or in a GRC role? I'm thinking about my possible career paths and am interested in both. However, they're so different.

I was wondering if anyone can share their experience in either role. The good, the bad, the ugly? Or anything else I should consider?

I have an interview for an industry role with a potential increase of 30-32% in salary. (no offer yet) But they want an immediate start and I’m worried it’ll screw over my current team and their project if I decide to exit. How do you manage this? Also the role is more technical but 100% remote but I’m almost nervous to leave the comfort and familiarity of consulting. Any tips? Obviously no offer yet but want to be prepared in case.

Would it be good to handle such roles in the early stage of the career?

Hi Everyone,

I am tech lead with package of 6.5LPA and my company is hiring telent for new project for 15+ LPA which will work under me and I have to train them for React.js so what step should be taken in this situation?

P.S. I am aware my package is low and it's low because I have not jumped any jobs until 8 years.

Since Covid started, I've used it as an excuse to avoid office parties and social functions even after restrictions started easing. Part of it was to avoid passing covid to at-risk family members, but admittedly my social anxiety played a role too. What a relief to give those things a miss! An office gathering is coming up that takes place during work hours and I want to skip it, but I'm worried that this will be problematic because it's technically during paid time. Should I bite the bullet?

Is there a distinction between Senior Associate and Senior Consultant at EY? I’m interviewing for a role in EY GPS Finance and not sure how much to ask for. I have 4 YOE

I am a young litigation associate (2y) mainly doing government investigations at a big law firm in DC. My S.O. is in the military and will have new orders coming soon (1-2 years). We will likely be moving to CA. I really enjoy working at my firm and would like to continue there, either fully remote or in the LA office, but I don’t do patent law, which is what that office focuses on. How should I approach my firm about this situation, if at all?

Hi all

I have been offered a role at Publiscis Sapient for Toronto Canada location as Senior Associate Technology L1.
I have 9.8 yrs of exp. Is the role mapping correct? And what are the responsibilities of Senior Associate Technology L1?

I’ve seen some Engagement Manger level folks here at McKinsey exiting to MM PE funds at VP level. What are the differences in recruiting process/expectations? (When comparing to pre-MBA MBB analysts exiting to PE as associates). I’m currently an Associate, debating whether to lateral in as PE Associate or try the PE VP role after I make Engagement Manager here.
