Nope but remember that time he wore a tan suit?!?!
Didn’t he put HIS FEET UP on HIS DESK?!
Oh and don’t forget the mustard debacle !
I think he was referring to that silly Russian tower real estate deal which obviously had nothing to do with his softening the Republican stance towards our sworn enemy Russia and also siding with Putin against our own intelligence agencies about whether or not Russia meddled in our elections on his behalf. Witch hunt!
He was definitely trying to put a pause to the flood of requests currently coming out of Congress. As long as those requests are based on some level of need beyond just investigating him to try and dig something up, I don't have an issue with the requests. If any of them really are just an attempt to blindly dig something up with random document requests, they need to find something more important to work on.
I actually agreed with him when he said it. "Frivolous politically motivated investigations" shouldn't be tolerated by either party. The trick is identifying which ones fall into this category without letting the investigation run to completion. Since I don't have an answer for it, Congress will just have to decide as they launch and pursue each one. Hopefully they don't spend too much time and money on the wrong ones at the expense of not addressing other issues.
Wasn't really attacking you or your argument, and I agree with you- I think frivolous investigations are bad, especially when they're politically motivated. Just more making a general statement, that I don't think this investigation can be considered frivolous after the findings we've already gotten.
Isn’t that why the Republicans stopped investigating Hillar.... oh. Never mind
