Hey so I’ve been dating a girl for three years. And she always expects me to do romantic or spontaneous things with her and come up with ideas. Should the girl be expected to do her part to. 50/50?

I expect both partners to do this. But I want an equal partnership and your gf may or may not want that.

My fiancé and I have been together for 3 years, and I expect him to still do that stuff. Buuut I also surprise him, take active interest in things he likes (sports, go team!), and if he’s low on ideas I’ll plan 🤷🏽‍♀️ I want my fiancé, everything else is frosting.

I think it should be 50/50 but I think people think about that differently. Your strength (or she may perceive it that way) is planning these dates whereas she may be thinking she is doing her share by helping out in other areas (taking care of something you don’t like) If you have heard about love languages, try to figure out how she likes to give and receive compared to you.

I think that’s a pretty normal expectation in most heterosexual relationship

Is it coming up with ideas or is there some financial element here (like you are paying for them?)

I think it should be about 50/50

Given the choice, would you: A) Stay at your current full service consulting firm where you’re mostly happy except for low compensation OR B) Take a position at a boutique consulting firm where you’re not sure you’ll enjoy the work but compensation is significantly higher (50% increase or more).

Working on a winnable motion in a case with the worst facts for me ever. (Legal technicality). Just gonna go full blown B Rabbit in the last rap battle of 8 mile in the first paragraph. “Yes my client lied. Yes records were destroyed. I do not have the moral high ground. I’m still standing here citing this statute saying dismiss this case. Go ahead and tell the judge something he doesn’t know about me.” *mic toss*
