vote for ThinkPad x1 carbon, battery not as good as macbook but definitely enf to sustain a day of light work; if really concerned probably get a thinkplus adaptor - just the size of a normal phone charger
From my experience (consulting and travelling to clients) get some thing that has a long battery life. You also want something that have 16gb or more memory/RAM. Also get the extend warranties for battery
My top picks:
- Dell xps 13, i5 16gb (I have the i7 32gb model)
- Surface Pro i5 16gb (had one, loved the surface pen it will help making notes and whiteboarding)
- Thinkpad x1 Carbon i5 16gb (wife has one from work, best keyboard you can get and it has a built-in stylus)
While I know these my be on the more premium side, so finding a 13inch or 14inch dell latitude or hp elitebook my be your way to go
Window laptop 2. Lightweight and easy to carry around
Any reviews on Dell XPS 13?
My brother has it and loves it. Just a little bit heavier than some of the ultra light models but the specs are great
Possibly the Dell Inspiron or Lenovo Yoga 7i
I have the Lenovo Yoga 9i and love it. HP Spectre is decent too (I had this but it broke and I was refunded lol). Both are around $1100 if you catch a sale which are pretty frequent
Samsung galaxy book pro
I got an HP specter and love it so far
HP spectre x360. You will love it. Bit on the more expensive side but it is worth it
Just graduated from bschool, and I went the Dell XPS route (purchased new in 2020). Still using it with no complaints. I think there were some great deals at the time as well.
I also noticed later that many of the hardcore finance folks in my section were using the Dell XPS, so I felt validated :)
