I want advice for my current situation. I was hired as a FT contract at this start-up for 6 months with potential for permanent job at the end. I’m approaching the 6 month in April. I’ve tried to bring it up in my 1on1 with the CEO (I report to him) and he pushed back and said we will talk about it closer to the end.

It’s been 2 weeks since then, i want to get a permanent position with a new role and salary. How do I bring this up with confidence and reasoning?Reasonable for asking?

I never finished college and don’t have a degree, but I’m 31 and feel it’s too late to go back to school when I still don’t even know what I want to do. I feel so lost and still haven’t found my passion or purpose. I see a lot of job hoppers these days but I think doing that would make me look bad to potential employers. I have no idea what I’m doing in life. My current role? I am way underpaid. It’s insulting when I see Chik Fil A employees paid the same hourly rate I’m paid. Sorry to vent.

Hey everyone, I need some advise. I've been interviewing for a company for the last 4weeks. The salary was originally discussed as (say Xk) but the recruiter I'm working with said today that they "realigned the goals" and brought the salary down to (Xk-10). I wasn't even okaay with Xk tbh, and now they've gone ahead and reduced it by 10k! Hi, I need your advise… I see lots of jobs as a Manager and lots of people getting hired with great salaries not much skills, however when I apply in getting automatic rejected emails and interviews that go nowhere. I think I’m the interviews they think I am lying of all what I do and current responsibilities and high number of direct reports.
