Dress for the body you *have*, not the body you think you want or the way you think someone in your role should dress. Go easy on the makeup and wear your hair in a natural, easy-care style. A lot of folks who transition from m-to-f end up looking like drag queens because they think women wear more makeup and spend more time on our looks than we really do. It’s worth the $$ to find a really good stylist, personal shopper, and makeup artist who can help her look her best and feel fabulous and confident.
This is the same advice I would give to a cisgender new grad in her first professional role, BTW. 😀

I think finding and wearing clothes that you are comfortable and confident in is important. Sucks to work a long work day self conscious about your wardrobe or uncomfortable and tugging on your clothes. This probably extends to make up too. I’m not a makeup gal and trying to force myself to wear it was a disaster.

There is "indocrination into female culture"?
Sounds....pretty ominous.
Yep, unfortunately. How to deal with male stereotyping. How to be safe at night when you’re walking outside. How to be aware of your surroundings. Being a white guy gives you a key to the kingdom and things like “no one will try to rape me” never crossed their mind
