I am really excited about the opportunity however the salary is quite low £45,000. I want to negotiate at the £50,000 but at the same time I don't want to lose the opportunity to work for PWC.

Just scheduled a meeting to go over an offer for a Senior Engineer role. When asked what I would need to make in order to leave my current job, I said at least $160k depending on benefits (I know I shouldn't have given a number).

I make a little over $145k now, plus stock options, a monthly home office stipend (fully remote), and your usual health benefits.

Assuming their benefits are comparable to my current position, have I given up all negotiation power by providing the initial number?
