Hey y’all, setting up our first ROTH for my family, which broker has the best/simplest user experience? I just want to invest in index funds in this account. I looked at schwab and thought they had a fund called SWPPX but can’t find it on their app? I like VOO, should I just use vanguard?

I really like fidelity but I would be fine with Schwab or vanguard also. Swppx and VOO should be the same. One is a mutual fund and one is an ETF. Are you searching Etf and therefor can’t find SWppx? You could also hold VOO at Schwab. Either is a great fund to start a Roth IRA

Can't go wrong with Schwab, Vanguard, or Fidelity. I have used Fidelity for years. Their customer service is outstanding.

I have heard schwab has great customer service also, but have never used them. I have also heard vanguard is a little lacking in that area, but realistically I rarely need customer service

Anybody have any resources/tools/exercises they can suggest to help with understanding strategy (i.e., high level thinking)? Nowadays a lot of my day-to-day involves strategic thinking and I’m more of a “in the weeds” kind of dude. It’s been challenging to see the bigger picture. Need to start thinking outside the circle and not so much about what’s inside. I’m fact, I want to start thinking that it might not be a circle at all.

I heard that internal candidates have much lower salary ranges for promotions / transferring teams. So much so that some people will leave the company a year just to come back to a more competitive offer.

I am in the running for a 2 band level promotion - if / when it gets to salary discussions, should I still try to negotiate? What are peoples thoughts? I would be going from an entry level role for 1 year to a senior role, but I still want a fair compensation compared to other hires.

EY PAS said that they can’t offer more than 115k for senior associate in Chicago. I find that ridiculously low since accenture t&o is offering people 140k to join as a consultant. It is from my understating that ey associate is equal to analyst and sr analyst at Accenture. Then senior associate is equal to consultant/ sr consultant. What am i missing here?
