Hey y’all, so I’m in a bit of a predicament: I just got admitted off the Kellogg waitlist but am enrolled at Columbia (both offering the same scholarship money). I’ve always loved the Kellogg culture / campus and felt that it would better prepare me for a career in tech product mgmt (limited prior exp). However, given that CBS orientation is a few weeks away, I’m a little uneasy about suddenly uprooting from NYC to Evanston. Am I really at that much of a disadvantage if I stick with Columbia?

Don't own a personal laptop; always use my work laptop for everything. I see people recommending Dell XPS or Lenovo Thinkpad but do you really need that for school? My plan was to just get a run of the mill laptop to use for excel and ppt...what else do i need it for?
