100k for senior analyst in Wisconsin. Worth it?
Best website(s) or resources to learn SQL?
Ballpark? 150~170k, with a lot depending on industry, size of company, and special skillsets.
That’s what I’m thinking so I just wanted to know when I said $160k to him if it was reasonable..
Especially because Glassdoor and other sites say $130k-$140k in my opinion it’s kind of low for a SAM cuz I make more than that with my raises and bonuses as an analytics manager
As a rule, you should demand what you are worth, not what you think a market average is. This is still an employee-driven hiring market.
Remember: if you aren’t worth what you ask for, you won’t pass probation. If you are worth more than you ask for, you’ll never catch up with raises.
These posts asking strangers who don’t know your performance to price you for an interview is bananas. Straight up crazy.
Don’t reply with excuses like “have to start somewhere” or “just doing research”. I’ve heard it all already and it’s still wrong. You price yourself based on how much YOU make or save a company. Everything else is suboptimal.
Got it!! Thank you! I had a price in mind but I wanted to see if that lines up with the industry I guess lol
I think 100k might be more realisitic
Yes I currently make 130k plus 10%-18% bonus
My agency group pays $100K. But the thing is the next band is manager and that’s $120K for 4+ years experience. You have 6 and so… All of the above assumes an Masters as minimum and the $ is the same no matter the location due to WFH.
No bonus as that’s only for directors and above.
Yes our manager requirement is 5+ years of experience :)
And with WFH, I feel like all the pays should be fairly similar right?
City? East coast vs west? You’ll get very different answers just depending on those answers!
It’s Ohio 🥹 nowadays jobs are remote and I just don’t get different pays by region cuz where we live is our choice no?
Salaries can vary based in location and company size. I hope this help: https://www.comparably.com/salaries/salaries-for-senior-analytics-manager#:~:text=The%20salaries%20of%20Senior%20Analytics,the%20top%2075%25%20making%20%24207%2C036.
