My mentor took a new job as a vp of transformation and he is bringing in his “people” including myself.. so I wanna see how much I can ask for. Currently, I am an analytics manager, and I have 6 years of data science/analytics experience and a masters in business analytics.

How long does the typical career path after a PhD or MD take to reach a $500k+ total comp if we’re counting years at an MBB firm with an exit to pharma/biotech and promotion time thereafter? I have a manager that does not seem to understand mental illnesses, disorders, etc. He thinks I am making excuses rather than trying to explain things (I have diagnosed ADHD, anxiety, and depression) and I’m trying to take ownership for issues but also help him understand what I am describing better as well.
