Has LinkedIn apply helped anyone to land an interview etc.? If not what according to you are some of the best ways to land a job in your company of choice or bette yet what has worked for you?

I’m trying to stay positive everyday and I do stay positive for all of my lessons with the kiddos, but I’m tired of the lack of respect for the profession. Educators work hard to meet and exceed all requirements of our profession and it seems like everywhere across this nation they’re being treated like 💩. Can’t even get some slack in a global pandemic.

I completed two years at my role and my promotion is due. I feel I am tremendously undervalued at this role. Should I wait to get promoted or accept the next offer I get?

Tech Recruiters! Curious to know how many requisitions you handle regularly and what is the expected time to fill? How would you compare it to staffing or probably a different industry like Manufacturing/Production/Trades? I currently am in Corporate recruiting and mainly handle hourly roles and get around 30-40 positions to fill and that is continuous as people also come and go.

I just had a candidate withdraw from a delivery position because they’re scared of cats and dogs and was curious what some of the oddest/funniest reasons you’ve had candidates withdraw, their explanation for being in positions for only a few months at a time, etc.

I have been reviewing professional resume services. I feel stagnant in my current position ( HR associates-contract) and have been in this role for 10 month. I don't feel fulfilled in this role and I have been looking for other positions but have not been successful. I will be finishing up my masters in Project management next may but I really need a role that is high impact and challenging, I also feel my resume is not up to par and have been reviewing abd looking into using a resume writing

Looking to leave C-suite after 4 years and seeking a out a controller role. Still have strong desire to lead a team, but looking to scale down responsibilities with a young family. Has anyone come across C-suite exits as people look to reevaluate work life balance? Any advice in looking for a role as some may see it as taking a step backwards?

I have over 7 years of Talent Acquisition experience. Full-cycle recruitment and creating hiring strategy/processes. I’m looking to transition into a Recruiting Operations role or another role where I can utilize my skill set in a different way. Any advice on how to transition into this?

Hi! I am currently in the Healthcare space but would like to move into recruiting in the tech space (companies like NetApp or similar). I have 10 years of work experience, of that 2 years is in sourcing and recruiting. Currently recruit in the early talent space but also carry an additional req load. Any thoughts on what salary range I should ask for/am worth? I'm currently at 65k. I've done some research but the range I've found is 60k-130k so I'm still in the dark. Thank you!

In the fall I was starting to explore external opportunities but a leadership position internally became available so I decided to go for it, despite low comp increase. One company checked in with me and want to move to an offer for an IC role because I don’t have enough management experience..I’m torn between just cutting my losses and making a move or sticking it out for the full year. I am at the 2nd round of my interview for the Recruiter Position for a German Company in Germany. I want to ask what should I prepare for this interview and which situations could they give me to check my Recruitment knowledge? Basic questions have been asked in the first interview.

Anybody who has felt maxed out in recruitment? What do you do? Do you try other industries first but stay in recruitment or do you try to change positions with more diversity of tasks? I now feel that everything I do is the same old, and although they say I am doing a good job, it is also a constant stress daily for applicants not showing up, failing pre-employment requirements, etc and I wonder if this is also present in other areas of HR.

Any UK based HR Professionals or Recruiters in here? I’m struggling on which certifications to get. Just pivoted into a Talent Sourcer role, I have experience of talent attraction but I wonder which HR/recruitment qualifications I could do to support my transition.

Deciding between:
1. CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice (will allow me to gain a high level view of the HR function that my new role fits into)
2. Level 3 Certificate in Recruitment Practice
