I just got a job as an Onboarding Lead (their 1st onboarder) at a small start up.
My job will be onboarding/assisting new clients in our platform. I’ve had 6 yrs of tech support and customer success management experience, but as a 100% onboarding role I am looking for resources on how to build/develop an Onboarding program and team.
I know it’s a vague ask, but any websites, books, creators or accounts that would be helpful to get my creative juices flowing would be so appreciated. Thx!

A year ago I moved to an HCOL area to accept a new position, however, I do not go into the office daily. I just go whenever my team needs to be in office. Was wondering has anyone moved out of an HCOL area to save money on rent and was it frowned upon when your firm found out? So I have been made an offer by a company I like but it’s pretty similar to my current package (I also like where I am). The recruiter is pretty intense and is pitting me against another candidate but says I’m the number one choice and is asking me for a number to say yes “but not too high or the team will look at the other candidate”
I’m close to send them to get stuffed. I’m also awaiting a promo and interview feedback from Google. Any advice?

I don't like my job, the responsibilities and tasks aren't right for me or my lifestyle.

Key positives for my current employer are pay and security. But my new role within the company isn't working for me, and ultimately I don't think it is for the company either.

A much much smaller (20 people) company offered me a role.

With the global economic situation as is, is it worth the risk to change to a job I know i'd like more with less pay, and potentially less job security?
