Heyo all, in the last year I’ve gone paperless and I’m a big fan of One Note now. Do you use it? If so, how? Give me your best tips! (Cont)

Onenote has OCR capabilities. I just screenshot and paste it as text. Not 100% correct, but gets your majority of the data that you look for. Love that and saved me a ton of time

Ooh, neat, I’m going to try this out. I use the screen grab, but not OCR

For example I use lots of the hot keys for bullets / checkboxes and I’m in M&A so each deal gets one page and then I have sub-pages for elements of the deal - notes, scope, data summaries, etc.

I love onenote! My team uses it for everything

Publish a OneNote to sharepoint or Teams and invite your team to it. “Who has the notes?” is a thing of the past.

Invite your stakeholders to a Notebook and use it for meetings/information. Reduces email by a significant amount. OneNote even pulls in all the meeting info, attendees, etc from outlook (and denotes who showed up to Skype calls)

Hi lady fishies, what do you guys do when you have a book as a goal? Read it on company time? But I feel I don't have that time. Also, have any sales books with woman authors to recommend. Can't stomach any more men than required right now.

Anyone know anything about Sandbox Chicago?

I have been getting calls from someone who introduces herself as an employee in my company from US office. She tells me she is visiting India for a meeting and her outlook is not working here, so she asks me to share contact numbers of some of senior partners in other teams. I am confused on what to do? I have been avoiding her calls since past few days. She told me she got my number by mistake as she asked for a contact from transport team in the same name.

I have been trying to get into the HRBP role for the last year or two. I have been in Recruiting for the last 10 years in various roles. I’ll consider a Jr level one for the right salary.

Wanted to know how different is management consulting in the US via-a-vis India?

Background : working as front end consultant in India. Daily routine is opening laptop at 9AM and doing work till 10ish PM, if the project is tight (which it is in majority cases) closing laptop by 1 or 2 am. Travel depends on project. Sr Managers have no sense of personal space in most companies. Money is goood.

How are things in US as I wish to join consulting in US for a few years for int’l exposure
