Started a new job back in January. Creative Director, a team of 7. Went back & fourth in negotiating. Offered 110k. Asked for 120k, settled on 115k. I even threw in that I was taking a hit with benefits, needing to pay 5k more as compared to my position I was leaving. That’s how I got it to 115k. At my annual I plan to address again, in partnership with the impact this position will have made this past year. What do other creative directors earn, if you don’t mind sharing? Here is the situation:

Review season is going on in my company and my manager is offering me salary of just below 20LPA.

Now the problem is that he is based out of US and he is dependent on data which Indian HR provides him regarding market salary info.

I had a discussion with him and convinced him to increase this if I provide the data and prove that I am being paid less.
