I was offered a promotion but due to internal policies the max comp they could offer was way under market value. I countered and was denied. I took time to think about it, being disappointed I applied for other jobs. Monday came and I decided to accept the offer. A week before starting my new position I got a call for one of the jobs I applied for. I am now going through to the last round of interviews the same week I start my new position. Would it be bad practice to accept another offer now?

Hi, guys! This maybe off-topic but wanted to ask this. I’ve accepted an offer from a firm and currently serving my np. My total np is 90 days which I’m serving completely. Had to ask the prospective company to shift my joining by a month. Since there’re still 2 and a half months into joining now I’m always paranoid thinking if offer would be revoked and other negative things like that.
