Hey all when I look at the “who’s here?”, of the 6 people it previews me 4 are white men and 1 is a white woman. Im conflicted on this - part of me wants to feel like all are welcome, part of me questions whether people joining groups that don’t apply to them detracts from the safe space. Thoughts?

Immigrated to the States from China 20 years ago when I was a teen. We are not Christian so we don’t really celebrate Christmas, or thanksgiving for that matter. We are not even in the habits of exchanging gifts yearly, even tho we do shop during holidays, mainly just for ourselves individually. Lol. Most year the my parents/siblings just do a large dinner. Are we the only ones? 🤷‍♂️

I finished my last rounds with Bain & Co a few weeks ago but still haven’t heard back from them. After follow up the recruiter said that “an interviewer will reach out soon to communicate the outcome.”
Can anyone please tell me how long does it usually take to hear back?
Also, should I be optimistic given the partner is taking time out of his busy schedule to communicate the outcome? 😅

Hi everyone. Another friend just announced that she was pregnant- which makes 3 announcements in just as many months. Each couple had “difficulty” getting pregnant but all were able to conceive with one or two months on medication and were bumped up to meds very quickly. Have been trying for a year and a half over here, take 13 supplements a day, shots monthly, had surgery in December, have upped letrozole doses and still nothing. Feeling pretty down today.

Does the HR provide a job link to finally send an offer letter to candidate once the designation & pay has already been decided ? Seems off to me. Kindly throw light.
