In the past I’ve worked in consumer lending and have been trying to get back into that field of work. My current employer hasn’t really had any openings in any department that I’m interested in and job shadowing hasn’t been an option due to how the workload of the department is. I need help figuring out if I’m being underpaid. I’m working on real estate private equity and I focus on fund models and property valuations. I’m currently base $80k with only 20% bonus. Been since May 23rd that I’ve completed my background check. Called the 3rd party company and they said the background check has been sent to the hiring company for review as of last Friday. Why do pharma companies rely so much on consultants like Axtria and ZS ? What I feel is Pharma companies mostly hire them for data cleaning. I am currently an intern at a top Pharma company and I see in meetings that my manager tells these consultants the idea and view he wants in deck and they(consultants) basically do data cleaning and come up with pretty slides. I don’t see any “consulting” part here. Why can’t these Pharma companies make their in house team for these things ?
