I am working on a project to create a module/workshop for effective interviewing and best practices for hiring managers. I’d love some feedback on some points/topics that I should include.

I left the hospital system I worked at for 18 years in April. One of the RNs I used to work with got me in. The job is less stressful but I feel like I’m not using any sort of skill in my role. I can’t imagine staying until retirement, the work can get repetitive and boring and I just know I can’t do it forever. My husband is completely burnt out in his role and might have to take quite a large pay cut if he takes a new role. How soon is too soon to look for new roles?

I recently accepted a new position (three months ago) and I excitedly accepted the first offer of the salary not knowing allll of the responsibilities that came with this position. I have opened the door about renegotiating my salary for this position and my boss was open to it. What research can I do to see the salary ranges for this position? It’s as a cash application specialist. This positions duties were held by 3 people and is now combined into 1 role.

Hi, I’m looking for a Recruiting Coordinator role that’s fully remote. I’ve been looking for a couple months and have probably applied to like 500 jobs, had interviews (past recruiter screen) with only maybe 7 companies that didn’t work out. I’ve made it to the final round twice to be told I wasn’t selected due to a slight experience difference. I’ve been in Hr for 5 years and have been in this role for 1.5 years now. Is anyone hiring?

I am an experienced CNA/MA (17yrs) trying to break into ER tech role. Previous company wouldn’t pay for phlebotomy class, and when I took a position with a company that would train me, there was so much drama and b.s.
I was out of there so fast because of the toxic environment. Should I just forget it and do my best to finish my RN?

I am a Unit Coordinator and I enjoyed what I was doing so much I took the time and spent the money to get certified. I was later told congratulations but my certification wouldn’t come with a pay increase, over the last couple months I spotted a new HUC position for a department I’ve been dying to get into for a while now and recently interviewed for the job. I just wondered what is a reasonable salary request if the question gets risen? I should also mention I have my BA and 1+ experience.

Seeking advice for moving from industry leadership role (dr of training) into HC consulting. 20+ years in TD (L&D, PC, OCM). Industry roles for last 5 years but spent most of my career in small consulting orgs.
CPTD but no degree (long story, about 15 cr shy). Would you suggest addl cert (CCMP, SHRM-C)? Will the lack of degree a no-go or is there a way in while I finish? A Sr director role is being dangled. Would the title bump help with the transition or do I risk missing a hot market?

I might be getting the opportunity to start my career straight out of my Masters in CS as a solutions architect/sales engineer at a pretty well known fortune 500 company (not faang). My understanding is that this is a unique opportunity because most technical sales engineer roles want 5 years of experience. Hi, I applied for the Analyst position of Deloitte Consulting - AI&Data team and am currently in the salary negotiation round. The salary range they offer's much lower than what I want (only half, about 900$-1000$/month). I stood firm and tried to explain why I deserved that salary and they continued to ask for current salary information after talking to the team and hiring managers (as they said this was Deloitte standard process). What should I do? I dont want to provide because of privacy.
