What are benefits we get when we join Nokia Noida office in sec 62. I have got an offer from Nokia.

After years of being overworked and having requests for help go unacknowledged- I put in notice after 20 years. In addition to this, this job checks every box as far as being a toxic workplace, I made the decision to save my mental health in lieu of a paycheck. It has not been formally announced that I’m leaving, but the word is out, and I am getting the “silent treatment”. I know this shouldn’t bother me but it does- is this just the way it’s going to be for the next 3 weeks?

Is a daily 1.5 hour commute (total) worth a more supportive work environment and better benefits?
Thinking of jumping ship after just 6 months in a fully remote position for an in-house, in person job where expectation is 5d/week in person. Commute would be around 90minutes/day in interstate. Better salary, good 401k match, parental leave (20 weeks paid), 4wks PTO, and a very big name for the resume. 3 YOE. But I love the flexibility of remote work, so struggling to decide.

I have 3 years of experience but 4 months out of these three years are maternity leave. Does maternity leave count toward experience or do I have to exclude it?

I’m expecting to go on maternity leave this summer, but I hate working at my current company. Recently 1 of my clients initiated open PTO policy. The transition from set leave balance to open was smooth process. However we are running into dilemma of how we standardize different types of leaves and whether there will be a limitation to how much open PTO is used at one time. For leisure, we just limit taking two weeks max at one time. However if we have volunteer policy or bereavement policy how should we standardize it? If EE is out for longterm sick, how do we standardize time paid?

I’m interested. How do you do collaborate on documents? For me it was always scribbles on a printed document handed to me to type in by a partner. I still get this. Also get photos of markups. Some have learned track changes. Some put arrows on a PDF redline. I prefer track changes because I don’t have to spend time typing stuff manually into documents. What are others views?
