I am trying to move from Germany and land a job in consulting / startups in London, but having a hard time. I have a Masters from target Uni in Europe mainland, 3+ years of international work experience (US, Asia and Europe) in in-house consulting and currently at a startup. Any insights on what could be the issue? Is it non-traditional route or non-UK degree / exp that’s holding me back to get interviews?

I've been asked to walk through a financial model I built as part of case study round for an Infrastructure investor. The model works fine for the inputs they provided but would get stuck when any input in the model is changed and I'm afraid the interviewer has figured that already and will specifically ask what's wrong.

I am unable to find any bugs with the code or why the model wouldn't work. How do I address it and not sound like a complete dumbass to them?!

Guys suggest how should I try for product based companies I mean don't find any details in naukri how should I apply kindly suggest?

Performance feedback should be tied to business outcomes with clear examples of what the person does well + how they can improve.

Construction costs / inflation / Costa Rica: I am considering buying land & building a short-term vacation rental villa in Costa Rica. Sole goal is to get a 10%+ ROI (going there for holidays as extra perk). All is looking good and I have good planning/advisors, but the only thing that freaks me out is the construction costs increase we are seeing (+15-30%). It kills me that timing is going against me. Would you pause such venture and wait to see how things evolve, or move on to not waste time?

I gave an interview at JPMC Mumbai a month back but haven't received any feedback from the HR. Followed up with the HR through mail and yet haven't received any update. On their careers site the status of my application shows your activity is under submission. Should I wait for the response or assume I didn't make it through?

Manager at JPMC made first day feel like he didn't care or bother to prepare for it. I feel like I've made a huge mistake joining here already.. any tips on how to possibly ask for a different manager or move internally ?

CTC - 33 fixed + 10-12% bonus (expecting total around 36-37 LPA)
Joining date - 15th Sept
Have accepted the offer letter. Wanted to know, how the offered CTC is compared to current market standards.

Alternate offer - Q2 software
CTC - 37.5 LPA (33 LPA fixed + rest stocks)

Optum (grade 27)-32.8lpa (Fixed - 26.2, pf - 1.26, variable - 5.25) + 2lacs JB
JPMC(grade 602) - 25lpa (pf - 90k)
I am more interested in joining JP. But there seems to be a big difference in CTC. There is no variable mentioned in JP offer but probable12% bonus.
Which one is a better choice. Will JP revise my CTC. How and when to approach them and what's least I settle for. Joining date is 14th Sept for both.
