Please, I am looking for ideas to motivate a virtual class. We want to set up a rewards program. However, we don’t want to reward for what the are supposed to complete. We also thought of homework passes & lunch with a teacher, because we are a virtual school independent study program. We see students for a short amount of time on zoom. I have a reinforcement ML algorithm that reads historical data for a stock and tries to make a prediction on its future price. The training data is 20 years of daily indicators and the evaluation is 1 year while the testing data is also 1 year. My problem is that it takes the algorithm almost 12 hrs to make one full run through a training session on my MacBook. I also tried with google colab pro using their gpus and tpus but they’re only slightly faster. Is there any way to speed this up?
