I had about 6 years experience at big four auditing mostly PE and hedge funds, left as a manager and switched to industry, have been working at my current job in fund accounting (PE) a little over a year. If I want to switch my job an a year, what salaries range I am looking at? Is it very competitive to find a good paying senior level job? On a separate note, the main reason that I am considering a new job is wlb which still not that good. Do 9-5 jobs really exist at my level with a good pay?

Any news on EB1c premium processing rule being implemented by USCIS soon? Seems like the law was passed in Sept 2020 to expand premium processing to EB1c but USCIS has still not enacted it. Any word on when/if they will. I am kn L1A and lawyers are currently preparing i140/i485/Adv Parole to be filed in the next 5-6 weeks hopefully.

Question regarding the stimulus check- When the first stimulus pay was out, I was on F1 status and now moved to H1 starting Oct.
I have filed 1040 NR form for 2019 tax purposes, will I be eligible for the 2nd stimulus pay when I file tax returns for 2020 since my status changed?

Hi all! New here, has anyone succeeded in transferring H1B under SOC management analyst? Mine got RFE and then denied, new employer is working on refilling but I’m not so sure about the job code.

For H1B transfer Nebraska service center has processing time of 2 to 4 month. While Vermont and California center have 4-6 months as per USCIS. Can we choose service center or it’s job location based?
