Ok CDs. Here’s the dilemma.
I’m a CD at a small boutique- a very dull boring one which I’ve been trying to turn around with only moderate success. Lots of freedom but a junior team.

There’s a senior AD role at a much bigger agency down the road. Great agency with great work.

Pay is equivalent.

Do you take the demotion to a lesser role? Would I regret the backward step?

I like the idea of just tinkering on concepts, but feel I’d struggle with several layers of management above.

I took a JR Pm role due to lack of agency experience but I find that the other PMs aren’t doing anything that I’m not & due to lack of leadership, resourcing & foresight I have had to step up and own rooms with no mentorship/guidance. I feel like I was duped and brought in on a jr role w/regular PM asks &no aupport. I was approached by another agency for an associate Pm position. Reaching out for any advice on questions to ask to truly assess resourcing, support and autonomy at a new place. Thx!

I interviewed for a company and the interview went good but they decided to go another route with the position. They did want to see if I’ll be a good fit for another position. I think the position is now open. I want to contact the recruiter but I’m not willing to go through all those interviews again. Should I reach out?

I completed the last round of an interview (presentation) last week. Originally they said they would be calling my references & then make an offer accordingly.
Today they updated that they'd like me to travel to their HQ (based in Nordics & I'm in London) for the final round where I'd meet the CEO, the hiring manager and a couple of people in the team.
I don't think I'm the only one in the process - even though initially the last round was the presentation.
