My ADHD has been a massive barrier for me in my career. I can’t stay at a job for more than 1.5 years.

My ADHD keeps me from being a consistently great performer. When I manage my ADHD, I am amazing. And when I fail to manage it, I fall short. And everyone then wonders why I can’t do my basic job responsibilities.
It’s frustrating. I am V qualified, talented and capable, but this thing is killing me. Everyone I know is getting ahead and I’m constantly struggling even though I’m ambitious.

Need advice: My firm just fired my whole team (said it’s becoming a conflict of interest buyside vs sellside). After the meeting, I was offered to stay at the firm and move to sellside, or I was also offered to follow my MD (who built out this sector) as he starts his own business (non compete waived, clients to be transferred). Interested to hear people’s thoughts on this.

Asking for a friend - Currently on F1 visa (H1B approved 10/1/21) on Change of status. Have F1 visa valid till Mar22. Can he go to India (home country) to visit family and come back to US in Jan22 on F1 visa without getting the H1B stamping done?

Scenario:

You have two opportunities:
Stay at your current company, making 82k a year, with the communicated expectation that in 2 years you’ll make manager. Or go to a new company, taking a title demotion, and make 110k a year. The new company’s structure has 4 associate levels before manager, of which I’d be at the1st level, pushing manager out at least 5 years.

I am holding offers with Genpact & Radisys. Both are offering same package. Any suggestions which company is better?

I earned my degree in Human Resources Management about 4 years ago while working as an Corporate Relations Analyst. I am now a Workforce Management Analyst but I desperately have been trying to pivot into HR since obtaining my degree. My biggest concern is not suffering a pay cut to start at the very bottom. My soft skills are immaculate; very quick learner. I truly cannot afford to take anything less than 70k. Any suggestions?

I am seeking a role in HR (nearly 11 years of experience) and considering taking the SHRM-CP. I am curious if the SHRM Learning System is really necessary or helpful. Since I am between jobs, I don’t want to spend more money than is really necessary. Did you pass without the fancy study materials? Any words of advice?
