Hi all! Hope everyone is having a great week. I’ve been at my company for quite some time now and I keep hearing that they underpay compared to other tech companies. I’m curious to know what the typical average salary is for a Customer Success Manager or Sr Customer Success Manager? Thanks in advance!

I had an offer at Salesforce for this role at $130k

like

This was at least a year and a half ago, but when I was a CSM my salary was around $60k + some RSUs and employee stock options. I think it might have went up recently because of benchmarking though - it did strike me as being low.

like

I would estimate a CSM being anywhere from 75-120k, depending on experience and skills (~2-6yrs experience). A senior CSM would be 120-150k or so (~6-10+yrs experience).

My current employer has a not great work/life balance but it’s much easier to get promoted. I received a job offer for a PM position with a base of $125K and a 10% bonus, fully remote and ok benefits. The parental leave is pretty bad, just FMLA and STD/LTD so the most I’d get is 60% of my salary for 12 weeks. I’ve cancelled most of my interviews except for one where the pay is $135K, 20% bonus, hybrid schedule, good benefits and 16 weeks fully paid parental leave. I’d like to start my family in a year or two - is it better to take the remote gig or the hybrid role with full paid leave?
