26 yrs old, been in consulting since finishing undergrad. Worried that I haven't narrowed my focus or found a niche to be specifically great at. Every project has been completely different... And I am constantly reading books to get smart on every other topic. My guess is this is all too common in consulting.

I am curious if this is feasible for a longterm career in consulting, especially if I am trying to continue climbing?

We are essentially an outsourced controller for our largest client. The owner is taking MASSIVE amounts of distributions over and above income. He’s essentially financed $1M in distributions from his LOC. We have spoken to him multiple times about this and the behavior never stops. What would you do here? Fire your largest client? Do you feel your reputation would be affected when this behavior comes to light? Inevitably it will when he bankrupts the company one day.

My question: Does variable amount generally get paid in Accenture or is it something that I should not expect much of?
And what is the variable payout timeline typically?

With fixed as 6.8 and 10% variable.

And one more offer in Accenture as application development analyst
With fixed as 7.5 and 21% variable
