Curious to know how do S& and PwC Life sciences work differ? Do they work on project together?
Very thankful to have a week each month remote on my project. Let's be real, we don't need to be on the client site every week.
I’m currently working at a law firm in San Diego specializing in coastal property rights as a litigation paralegal and legal assistant. We received a minute order from a preliminary injunction hearing. Our client was ordered to post an injunction bond of $2,500. First our client walked to the courthouse to try to pay the bond up front, but they would not accept his money. He tried to call several bond companies, but all said the amount was too small. So how do you post an injunction bond?
Any suggestions on how to handle being micromanaged - or how to handle someone who gives copious amounts of feedback and has high standards/is a perfectionist, but ultimately is not directly responsible for the success of the project?

What are the best virtual tools for CM? I've used intuition and visual assessment prior to COVID. Now we find we need to more trust on how the client views the change needed (or not recognizing the need).
Two more weeks until I put in my notice. Trying to do the bare minimum but also not be too obvious, but of course my project is blowing up right now. AND I am getting pulled into proposals left and right. Make it stop! Let me coast!
Physically and emotionally draining coast to coast project and getting some health issues. Only been on project for a month, will i be able to leave and be okay finding another project?
Show of hands; who has been laid off because your agency lost a big client? Also, when you interviewed for your next job did you feel comfortable saying that? And do other agencies understand?

About to start working in process assurance at PwC. Will I mainly be in the office or client? Compared to core assurance where I basically always at the client. Thanks!
What if you roll someone off for poor performance and then a potential project reaches out to you to discuss the person. Do you tell them the performance issues you had with them or just say they were ok?
Advice for finding client-side creative opportunities? Especially where I could work remotely? I know how to find normal advertising jobs, but I think I need a little break from this ad scene/culture.
Hey guys! Has anyone made the pivot from Merchandising to Project Management? I’d love to chat as it is something I am looking to do. Thanks! :)
I got hired as a freelancer on a project. 2 days in and we’re off to a slow start getting access to what I need. It’s paid hourly. I blocked out time to work a full day knowing I’d dive right in but that’s not how it turned out. My question is do I bill the full day even though I only put in a few hours of kick off calls and contacting folks to get access to the things I need? It’s not my fault they were disorganized. What would you do?
First day on the project and the partner takes out an hour to teach me how to configure (1:1). Uncle D rocks!!!
I have almost 6 yrs experience as an SAP HCM Functional Consultant. Have experience in US and Canada payroll. I am certified in successfactors EC and EC payroll. But no experience in that so far. Did anyone's brains just stop working while pregnant? I'm 13 weeks and can only manage to work half days. I'll sit at my computer for 12 hours and bill only 3-4 hours instead of my standard 8-10. I have work to do, but zero motivation or availability to focus unless there's a looming deadline. Does this phase pass? Did this happen to anyone else?

How do I learn to accept my role in the company and "slow down" career wise. I am used to quick promos and my new company is hiring someone with equal product exp to a more senior role than me, likely due to his 3 more yrs of overall experience. I am having my first child in the next few months and I think it would be good for me to learn some patience in my career growth and just enjoy my current role. I personally think going on leave will hurt my near term growth but should I even care? TIA

Any new fathers irritated or rubbed the wrong way about all the programs/benefits/focus on working mothers and very little (if any) on working dads?
Does the amount of "Breakthrough Cases" rising among those fully vaccinated make anyone... wonder? Now there's a "Delta+" variant? Now they are saying "No vaccine is 100% effective so this is to be expected"? As if we're just suppose to shrug our shoulders after they have been pressuring everyone to get the vaccine? I'm fully vaxed but I can't help but wonder... this is what the Anti-Vaxers have been warning and saying the whole time and it's making me second guess which side I'm on...

I'll be joining the consulting world very soon and am thinking about getting a new personal credit card. My meal expenses are per diem so I'm thinking about the AmEx Gold card as it has 4x points on dining. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on personal cards for consultants and how to go about my corporate card as well! TIA
