Hi All, I am 26 and torn between two jobs. Looking to switch out of FP&A and not sure which route to pursue since both are pretty different (Current offer for job A has a deadline)

Job A:
SFA at an MBB working in commercial finance (not FP&A but different internal finance function i.e strategic). High level exposure, great network opportunities and solid comp. ~$130k.
Job B:
Portfolio analyst for a well known bank in commercial lending. Not 100% about comp. But waiting for offer to come in.

How should i go about rejecting an MBB offer after signing the actual offer(a few weeks ago)? I have some personal reasons, circumstances have changed and i will focus on different thing

For a 2 YOE Data Engineer, what will be a better option to go for in terms of Learning , WLB , Appraisals

1) Tiger Analytics - Senior Software Engineer
2) HashedIn by Deloitte - Senior Software Engineer B6 L

He also exhibits stalker like behavior by looking up my family online (addresses, emails, phone numbers, FB/Twitter accounts, you name it) and driving by my house and commenting on things I was doing during the weekend or after work. Edward Jones advisor with 30 million AUM and roughly 250k gross production. Been there for almost 4 years. Got an offer at Merrill Lynch to take over a 100 million dollar retirement transition plan in 5 years, or to join a 5 person Merrill Lynch team that manages a lot.

Pros to EJ: Have my own office, a year or two away from partnership, great office setting and client satisfaction.

Pros to Merrill: Bump in compensation, additional tools and services w banking, ability to take over assets.

I’ve had radio silence from a small investment bank for about a week now. I’ve completed several rounds of interviews, but last Thursday the firm reposted the job I’ve been interviewing for. On Friday the headhunter said that they’re not sourcing new candidates and it’s probably just LinkedIn automatically refreshing the listing. She said they had a busy week last week but will make a final decision this week - is the delay and radio silence a bad sign or is this typical for experienced hiring?
