Hi All, My little sister is graduating this weekend from Hampton University with a bachelor of Psychology. She plans on applying to the Google Project Management apprenticeship that just opened up. When applying for Google apprenticeships, is it helpful to get a referral from a Google employee? And if so, would anyone be willing you give her a referral?

Hi Sachin, here’s a quick recap as a current Recruiter. -you can remove high school info -need clarification on achieved next to your college information -if any of your experience was remote or hybrid, I would add that to the title of the role. I hope this helps!
That's a good point. I'll add if my work was hybrid, etc. on my CV. Thanks
I would remove High School information. Does 2.1 mean something like a high GPA or summa cum laude? I would highlight that for sure, if it was equivalent to summa or magna cum laude. If your grades are bad, I wouldn't highlight or put that on a resume, but absolutely make it available if the hiring manager asks. Fundamentally, I am not sure if 2:1 is good or not, in the US anything over 3.0 GPA is pretty decent.
Hi, just for clarification, the UK uni grading system is the following. First-class honours (1st) – 70% or higher. Second-class honours, upper division (2.1) – typically 60 – 69% Second-class honours, lower division (2.2) – typically 50 – 59% Third-class honours (3rd)- typically 40 – 49% Thanks for tip about high school experience. I know in the UK some employers still ask for it, and some don't - it depends on who you talk to I guess
