Are there good exit opportunities for those consultants in the OCM space, aside from an HR-like role?
I have a review coming up… I have been doing my research about Salaries and my current role. I have found that I am actually being severely underpaid. What is the best way to approach this with my manager and how to ask for more money without being rude?
Currently a Federal Tax Manager looking to get away from compliance in at least some capacity. Has anyone ever done a rotation or taken on an internal role within Big 4, while also keeping some compliance clients? Not looking to reach that next promotion right away, I just don’t want to do tax returns forever and want to explore what’s out there before hitting the gas again on my career trajectory…advice? Deloitte seems supportive but I want to hear from someone who’s done it 🤷♀️
Can anyone tell me a little more about PwC’s Clinical R&D Experienced Associate position? Any other background like salary, day in the life would be helpful. thanks for your time and you’re welcome to DM me.

Hi! I currently have 1 year of experience working as a Recruiter + my 6 month recruitment internship.
I have had the opportunity to work with well-known clients across the Financial Services, Tech and Healthcare industries.
According to my colleagues at other companies, the work I have been doing is very high volume!! However, I am not being compensated as such.
If anyone has any suggestions on companies or agencies that I should look into (paying $60k+) please feel free to comment below.
Graduating with PhD in comp neuro next year. I just did a week long internship at MBB to check out consulting, which I loved but ultimately will not be accepting my offer for life considerations (my wife also works at MBB and we have young children). It was amazing getting a sense of what the work actually comprises.
Are there any similar day-long or week-long internship programs for data science? Would love to test it out for a little bit to see what I like/dislike.

Looking for advice on breaking into the employment litigation field. I’m a 3rd-year general litigation associate at a v10 law firm in NYC where I’ve gotten to work on a couple of L&E cases. My job search for L&E roles has been slow because most of the roles require significant L&E experience. Would it be a bad idea to take a non-partner track role in an AmLaw100 firm’s L&E group in order to break into the field? What kinds of jobs would I be marketable for afterwards? Smaller firm? In-house?
I am a truck driver for a logistics company. It isn’t the most glamorous job but it allows me some flexibility and I make good money. Can I move upward from this position eventually?

Is it better to exit after a year and just start over as a new entry level position? Or to leave once you make senior? Just worried that if you leave as a senior to industry you may have a paycut

My sister has cleared all the rounds in Accenture. HR contacted her today to negotiate the salary. My sister asked for 8LPA FP. HR said the max fixed pay they could offer is 7.5LPA. My sister told she would think and get back in few minutes.
Within 5 minutes, HR moved the candidature status to “on hold” due to budget constraints. None of the HRs are answering the calls. What can i expect?
I am feeling worse as i advised my sister to tell HR that she would get back. :(

I am currently in school pursuing a degree in technology management. In my career and at work I feel that I am learning far more than what I am in school. For about 3 semesters now I have felt the urge to drop out and use the extra time to pursue professional certifications. Any advice on if I should just stick with school or if I should drop out? Thank you!
Hi! I’m graduating law school soon with a prospective job in-house at a tech company, doing a mix of transactional & privacy law. I wanted to know the average salary for a privacy (and transactional) lawyer these days, so I’m well positioned to advocate for myself. I have a GPA above 3.0, very involved at school, I’m currently working with them through the summer and have received a lot of positive feedback. Happy to provide more context but if anyone can ballpark some figures, very appreciated!
