Hi! I currently have 1 year of experience working as a Recruiter + my 6 month recruitment internship.

I have had the opportunity to work with well-known clients across the Financial Services, Tech and Healthcare industries.

According to my colleagues at other companies, the work I have been doing is very high volume!! However, I am not being compensated as such.

Graduating with PhD in comp neuro next year. I just did a week long internship at MBB to check out consulting, which I loved but ultimately will not be accepting my offer for life considerations (my wife also works at MBB and we have young children). It was amazing getting a sense of what the work actually comprises.

Looking for advice on breaking into the employment litigation field. I’m a 3rd-year general litigation associate at a v10 law firm in NYC where I’ve gotten to work on a couple of L&E cases. My job search for L&E roles has been slow because most of the roles require significant L&E experience. Would it be a bad idea to take a non-partner track role in an AmLaw100 firm’s L&E group in order to break into the field? What kinds of jobs would I be marketable for afterwards? Smaller firm? In-house?

My sister has cleared all the rounds in Accenture. HR contacted her today to negotiate the salary. My sister asked for 8LPA FP. HR said the max fixed pay they could offer is 7.5LPA. My sister told she would think and get back in few minutes.

Within 5 minutes, HR moved the candidature status to “on hold” due to budget constraints. None of the HRs are answering the calls. What can i expect?
