I have a standing offer with Accenture (AFS). Due to coronavirus, the recruiter told me they are pausing staffing of external people like myself while they take care of internal people on the bench. My recruiter said he would touch base monthly during covid, but usually I’m the one to reach out to him. We haven’t spoken since mid March, so should I reach out? I totally understand if they’re still in the same position as before and nothing changed since mid March in terms of hiring.
I am in an awkward stage where I have interviews for jobs I really want with low expectations of actually getting them Sigh, I want my exit opp
How do I learn to accept my role in the company and "slow down" career wise. I am used to quick promos and my new company is hiring someone with equal product exp to a more senior role than me, likely due to his 3 more yrs of overall experience. I am having my first child in the next few months and I think it would be good for me to learn some patience in my career growth and just enjoy my current role. I personally think going on leave will hurt my near term growth but should I even care? TIA
What’s general turnaround time from final candidate interview to decision / offer? Friend I referred for a SD role has gone through the process (2 Partner interviews, 1 SD interview) with the last interview occurring about two weeks ago. She hasn’t heard anything from HR and HR hasn’t responded to her emails asking on status. Not sure if that’s par for the course or an indication she got dinged.
I have 2 years entry level consulting experience and specialize more in CPQ/Salesforce. Debating if I should stay and get promoted or try and exit for an industry job? What can I apply for? Are there government/healthcare jobs that use cpq/Salesforce? Will they pay 120k+ for someone like me?
I was at a job for only about 8 months because of a Covid-related restructuring. I wasn’t fired, but the role responsibilities materially changed so I left. How do I notate / message this on my resume?
tips on how to speed up a hiring process? I’ve interviewed (final round with a huge panel in-person after also Skyping and whatnot before). No word yet except that they’re still waiting for feedback
I am so discouraged. Left consulting as a high performer and well respected by my colleagues and clients to an industry role 2 months ago and feel it’s not clicking. I feel so dumb all the time, I feel like my hiring manager regrets they hired me (even though she is wonderful and supportive) and I feel like the people I interact with think I’m an idiot. It’s a 180 degree turn from just two months ago. Has anyone else gone through similar? Feeling really embarrassed. Maybe I made a mistake.
Anyone has insights to offer on the culture within Deloitte's Strategy & Analytics practice? I am considering a move to a SC position. Thanks!
I found a dream job that I’m uniquely qualified for and applied 2 weeks ago and still haven’t heard anything. I messaged the hiring manager on LinkedIn after applying to express my interest and they said they’d pass my name onto the recruiter. Is it appropriate to find a company recruiter on LinkedIn and try to reach out as well…or should I keep waiting? I want to be proactive so I don’t miss a shot at an interview, but don’t want to come off as pushy or desperate.
I've been looking into applying to a position as a medical social woker in Banner. I am currently doing private practice therapy and have noticed that doing counseling 24/7 is not for me. I would love to work with people, helping people and providing a more "group" mentality of help such as classes. Is this even possible?
In a predicament folks .. my new employer hired me into a full time role into the US but the immigration team has only done a TN for 10 months due to some administrative mistakes and now the paper work is done. I am working to see how i get this addressed as I cannot even sigh a lease for a 1 year place or lease a car if my status is under 1 year. I am confident they will renew me but it puts me in a jam. Any advice on this? Has anyone seen this?

I feel so hopeless. All my friends are leaving Deloitte and I am still stuck here. I would like to exit to industry, but all the offers I receive are way too low, especially compared to the huge salary increases I see people here get. Where should I be looking as a strategy consultant with 3 YOE wanting a remote position?
Can’t decide between Cornell’s Metro vs. Americas EMBA program. They both seem to be great and offer an Cornell MBA upon graduation. Americas costs about 155k while the Metro NY costs 205k. Both programs are 60 credits in different formats. I can’t seem to understand the difference in price. I like the Americas program because of its flexibility (can attend from selected cities across the US so I would not be stuck in NY). I like the Metro NY for the in-person classroom environment.
Hi fishes, I would like to know what's the average salary for Tax Senior Level 2 in Indirect Tax vertical. Appreciate your insights

I just got laid off from a strategy consulting boutique in the UK that primarily works with PE funds doing CDD/VDD. It goes without saying that the market is terrible. I suspect no strategy firms are hiring and it will need to be an in-house move or if I could stretch it PE/VC. What are people’s thoughts and does anyone have any advice?
At the big 4, why is cyber security usually in risk advisory/assurance and not in consulting?
