Hi all, I am looking to internally apply/transfer to a PwC legal clerkship (= Aussie legal summer associate) from Assurance. The recruiter suggests I contact some associates/SAs to stand out/further my application. I am junior & can appreciate that people are busy with much higher priorities than replying to a networking email. How do I respectfully reach out and ask for their time? The one contact I had made earlier this year has ignore my email so I am apprehensive/unsure how to proceed.

How hard is everyone pushing their corporate clients to authorize nonresident assignees whose only 2020 US compensation was the value of their 2019 tax preparation?
My clients are pushing back on it this year, and I can't say I blame them. If I were in their shoes, I'd rather take the risk of not filing than the expense of filing again. From my own point of view, I don't really want to spend my time on such returns, either, even if the revenue and easy return are nice.

Hey all- I’m a L&D Professional with some sales experience. I want to jump into Sales L&D but many roles require sales experience. I’ve helped close complex sales for large scale project work but have never been held accountable to monthly revenue targets since it wasnt my primary role with the exception of a brief time spent as an SDR. Looking for input if I should just go for Sales L&D positions or start as an AE and then apply for Sales L&D. Currently have interview for AE role with Gartner.

Obviously MBB are the top consulting firms, but would people feel different about prestige based on service line? As in, is it better to be any type of BA/EM/etc at McK than doing the “sexiest” strategy work at a B4/tier 2? Would any of y’all at Tier 2s accept any lateral role at MBB? Curious to hear thoughts
