Hi all. I am trying to lose ~50 lbs and every time I try to meal plan, I lose out either on getting all the necessary nutrition or staying within my caloric limit. I’m vegetarian so the main thing I miss out on is protein. Any tips on how to balance both sides?

You may just have to take a protein supplement like a whey protein shake since it’s hard to hit protein requirements while also not blowing out carbs as a vegetarian

You should see a registered dietician, they're great for helping with these specific struggles

I did roasted veggies on quinoa tonight with nutritional yeast. Protein powder shake for breakfast. If you do dairy you can get protein from cottage cheese and yogurt. I also eat eggs several days per week
Vegan protein often means tofu or tempeh. Ive made a yummy sugar free silken tofu chocolate pudding.

BCG = oatmeal, Whey, Bananas etc. along with meal prep and structured weight training is a good way to get lean. Yes, I said weight training to get lean.

Eating enough protein + lifting weights will do wonders to body composition (as long as you’re not doing a supersize me “diet”)

Any clue how much I can expect my body/bump to grow between 8w3d and 12w3d? I am small (5’4 115lbs) and so far have not gained any weight but my once mostly flat stomach is already not flat anymore and I have a tiny bump under my belly button. I need to figure out a dress for my work holiday party in 4 weeks. I don’t know if I will be able to wear my normal size if the dress has some room in the lower belly or if I will be bigger all over (even in the rib cage area) and will need a bigger size.

Hi all. Hubs and I have been trying to get pregnant for a few years with no luck. Tried IUI, no success. I’m scared of IVF and the toll it takes on your body but we may be looking at that soon.
