Hello! I need advice. I have 5 years of digital marketing, project and team management experience. I’ve been doing design work w/o realizing ux/ui was a career since the beginning. I didn’t keep record of those projects but I created a portfolio to show proof of knowledge/skill but it’s not lengthy. I know how to use design software, wireframe, prototype, and I do feel like a lot of my knowledge/ skills are relevant. Should I be going after Jr, mid or senior lvl UI roles?

I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

Their requests often take the product on a tangent as they have very niche use cases, and this uses up (some) Engg bandwidth from other key areas needed to grow the market both locally and in other locals.
Leadership wants to keep the client so they agree to all their demands.
How common is this? Is this strategy okay or are there pitfalls we aren't seeing?

Could it be a genuine opportunity provided they are looping RMG, Project manager and giving consent that I can withdraw resignation only if immidieate onsite is given.

Current company countered with 10% more, effectively increasing my current base by 36% with a Sr management role. The people at my current company are great and with new management they are tackling some of my frustrations from the past.
