Yes but technically, you entered the receipt number for your present employer. You’d have to update your appointment confirmation with the receipt number for the new employer after your transfer petition is approved. That means losing your December appointment.

Problem is customer service cannot really change it. Everything requires breaking the appointment and rescheduling after the info is changed. This includes DS-160. Doesn’t hurt to try though.

How did you manage to get an appointment? I have been trying for H4, but no luck so far.

Got it couple of months ago! I got lucky

Thinking about buying a single family home for ~600k in the next year or so OR pushing it out an additional year to get a multi family for ~1m. Thoughts? Current HHI ~175k, $40k student loan debt ($200 monthly) no other debts (credit card/car etc) Project HHI for option two ~210k. Let’s assume I can save 75k for DP for option 1 and 150k for option 2.

L1B to L1A then EBC1 - possible? I’m currently on a L1B at Accenture, based in US which will expire soon and getting extended. Accenture hasn’t been super helpful with my immigration inquires. Did I need to get an H1B visa stamping if I’m in the US? I was on OPT and got my H1B while on it so ive been in the US since 2014, never left. It’s time to renew my H1B and the questionnaire is asking for my current visa info such as the visa number. I don’t have a visa stamp for my H1B because I was in the US. I do have one for my F1 that is obviously expired. I only have the I-747A for my H1B. Did I not get an H1B stamping when I needed to for 2+ years…?

Folks I know who were in consulting a longer time ago don’t really have experience with them, but all the younger folks seem to.
