Hi All! I had my 3rd (and 4th) interview this past Wednesday. First with HR, 2nd with the hiring manager, and 3rd (and 4th) with two team members in separate roles. I prepped and felt positive it went well, but you never know. The position is posted, and according to LinkedIn, there are 170 applicants. I was asked about compensation after the initial HR meeting. I haven't heard back and wondering what happens next? How long does it take a company to put together an offer? Fingers crossed!

As I'm moving to a new role in a small company, I have a doubt about my salary structure like the Basic salary part is only 20,000 while my take home is 62k after all deductions.

I'm concerned because the leave encashment & other things totally depends on the basic salary.

Are there not any rules for the Basic salary to be at a certain % of CTC or it depends totally on the company?

Also PF deductions they are offering only 1800 p.m but considering 20000 basic it should be 12% of 20000 right?

I’m curious how ADHD professionals prepare for job interviews. Some interviews I’m really nailing it and other interviews I can’t find the right words to communicate properly.

Left my first job after just shy of two years because I was bored. Have been at my current job for about half a year and it’s a great resume builder but an absolute horror story (long hours, unreasonable clients, tons of weekend work that’s not worth the pay). If I left in a few months, at the 10 month mark, would that significantly hurt my chances of getting a strong exit opportunity? Hi Folks, got offer from tw. Can TW revise offer without counter offer in hand, if I tell HR I am not happy with the offered salary. I accepted the offer as I was desperate and got very less hike. It bothers me a lot. As TW has employee centric policy will HR consider my request.

I actually have a question: husband had 4th (final) interview with company last Tuesday, emailed them follow up Wednesday, heard back Thursday, them saying that they will be in touch with him “next week with next steps”. Still haven’t heard anything back. Not sure what is going on…?

Okay so here’s the deal.
I have several years that I haven’t had a job interview because when I needed to change jobs it was for people who knew my work personally and the offer was on the table. In the recruiter interview I wasn’t asked where I live. The job is with a huge sports wear company in Los Ángeles and I live in Miami. Does not living in the same city not make the hiring manger want to hire you even though I would move to the jobs location ASAP? And if they ask where I live do I say I live in their city? I applied for a job based on the job description and now have an interview with the Recruiter in the next couple of days. In preparation for the interview I did some research and have serious concerns about the company. E.g., most of the most recent Glassdoor reviews describe the company as a "sinking ship" with poor benefits and poor leadership.

How would you approach this situation? Would you mention the bad reviews to the recruiter? Cancel? Continue and see what happens?
