Hi all! I have a job interview coming up with Capital One and I am nervous as I don’t feel like I have the qualifications for this position.

Anybody in display marketing here that can help me with some interview tips on how to enhance and sell what I can bring to the table?

They think you’re qualified. This isn’t a mindset; it’s fact. But it needs to become your mindset too, because you’re probably losing sight of it. Trust me, they would not be interviewing you if they didn’t think you were qualified. No interviewer interviews people just for the hell of it. The mere fact that they set up an interview means that they have already determined that you are qualified enough that there’s a very good chance that you might be the best person for the job.

First - thank you so much to this amazing group for all the encouragement and advice! I now potentially have 2 offers (both verbal) at this time. Both amazing companies. I have 2 questions:
1. I have a month's vacation planned for end of this year. I didn't mention it during the interview process (it was not intentional). Should I mention this to the recruiter when they come to me with the initial offer?
2. Some tips for salary negotiations please?

I wanted to spread a little positivity this Friday afternoon. I just started a new job after casually interviewing for several months at the start of the year to do a little research on the marketing job market, and then seriously interviewing/searching since May. After coming close with several other jobs but something always going wrong (low ball pay, role put on hold, etc.) I finally got THE job. I’m excited about it, I’m paid well, and fully remote. So don’t settle, and don’t give up! ✨
