Hi all. I have a referral question. Long story short, I waited too long to apply for a SA role. I wanted to pass my PMP first (which I did on Friday) and went to apply to the role yesterday to see that it got taken down. I do have a friend who can refer me but does she have to wait for another posting to come up before she refers me? Or can she do it with an existing posting and I’ll get an internal link that isn’t attached to a specific posting? Did I lose my chance?

I accepted an offer verbally 2 weeks before. The recruiter said I will receive written offer this week but their process has been very slow and I'm yet to go ahead with background check which will be after that. I am also interviewing at company B and I'm in the final round. I want to work for company A but still don't want to be overconfident and reject other interviews. Is there anyway to expedite this process?

I think it's fantastic this bowl has been made, it can be very hard to get away from US- centric consulting info. Whenever I search for consulting salary benchmarks I consistently find US consulting salaries which I believe isn't at all comparable to UK salary figures for the same role. Anyone else find the same?

Do you disclose when you were promoted on your CV? I’ve been as a assistant manager for over a year but have just been ‘promoted’ to manager. Have been doing the same role for the entire time… only thing that changed was my official role title. Do I need to split this out into two roles on my CV?

Would ideally like to keep as one optically to avoid having to ‘spend more time in the manger role’… as I’ve been doing that role for a year now and keen to move on!

KPMG 🇨🇦 , looking to get your perspective here: Just saw two roles in the Montreal Office, which I think I’d be a good fit based on my background. However, (i) I don’t speak French (it’s not stated as a requirement but I suppose there’s likely a preference for French speakers (ii) Have never lived in Montreal before and I am wondering if it’ll be worth a move from Toronto and (iii) If I even have a chance to come in at Manager level considering I have no prior consulting experience.
