Is 2080 billable hours a year standard for small firms. About 70k/year salary? Just wondering if this is strange
What’s a rough estimate of starting salary I could expect at Deloitte as a senior consultant? I feel like Glassdoor is probably outdated given the fast rising inflation
Interviewing with Accenture for Senior role in Guidewire Delivery in NE ( NYC, Boston, Hartford or Philly). Any idea on pay ranges and signing bonus?

Anyone have any thoughts/insight on Womble Bond? Obviously their COVID cuts were not great, but it seems like they rebounded. Particularly interested in comp & culture
Third interview at an agency I really want. It lasted 30 minutes, and ended with a handshake and a “we’ll be in touch.” Why do I feel like something went wrong?
Advice appreciated: my current firm is starting my gc process. But i got an offer for 50% salary increase + a rank promotion with another firm. I don’t know too much about their gc process but I have heard somewhat bad thing about it. Should I stay or leave?
Hi All, I have an offer from Deloitte M&A Restructuring, A&M PEPI MAS and PwC PEVC. Any thoughts on pros and cons of both. (Not a humble brag but thankful everyone is hiring so much!)
Finished a 4-hour back to back interview with McKinsey. Hoping for some good news next Monday...
9 months ago, I posted on this app that I was leaving FAANG for MBB. Every single responder discouraged me from doing it given worse WLB, less pay per hour worked, etc. I’m here to say that you were all correct. Every single one of you. I would go back in an instant if I could.
How hard would it be to make the jump from designer to art director? For context, when applying for this job I thought I would be a designer with some ideation opportunities (there are no Junior Art Directors in our creative hierarchy). Craving for more ideation/big-thinking art direction in my next gig.
Have anyone done contracting negotiations before? I've interviewed for co A & B and co A extended an offer today. The offer does not meet my current salary. Co B's interview structure is 3 rounds and I've finished my 2nd round today. The recruiter mentioned that since I am a contractor my current salary is incomparable as they will provide benefits, etc. Is this true? I have 2 yrs of contracting HR exp from fortunate 500 co’s & OMW to get my SHRM-CP. Appreciate your advice in advance.
How much does utilization matter at S&? Is it a simple over = ok/under = not ok metric? Does 100% get you less bonus than say, 110%? SA here so I'm pegged to 95%
Family law associate. I run a docket of about 40-50 cases and work about 50 hours a week. I currently make about 125K (self-employed, no benefits). Between jury trials for CPS termination cases and the highly adversarial nature of family law, I find this job to be incredibly draining, as I have horrid work/life balance and struggle with constant anxiety. I recently got an offer with a personal injury firm. 110K, full benefits, for a non-litigation/docket manager role. Thoughts?
Getting cold feet about turning in my notice. Recently got an offer from a company for a role I’ve been super curious about. My current role is good - pay-wise, manager & team-wise, etc - but I’m really tired of the daily grind of my current job function. I’ve been here for only 4 months so I’m afraid I’m making a mistake leaving a good opportunity for something so unknown and career pivot and sooo new to me (plus it’s a startup, so less stable than current job). What should I do?
Updating my resume for potential pre-MBA internship.. what's the best way to show that I'll be attending bschool? Would GMAT score and fellowship be appropriate on it as well? Thanks!
I have an interview with Deloitte US for M&A IT Due Diligence position coming up (1st round). Any here have any positives/negatives experiences in the role? Interview approach? Any help would be appreciated. Deloitte

How do you cope with seeing your peers (either in this industry or outside) getting ahead of you (being promoted earlier) in their careers?
Does anyone else feel like they get a runaround response when receiving a rejection notification? I got an answer back after months as to why I wasn’t considered for a position and they state my focus was more on billing operations even though I was able to demonstrate my ability to perform the tasks of the position on a technical interview.
Genuine question: why do people bill over 2100 in this market? I can see how wanting to be a “good associate” could get you to agree to go slightly above your hours requirement, but don’t understand how people end up billing 2500+ hours… do you really think you’d get fired if you said no to more work? Is someone legitimately forcing you to work that much? Don’t see how extra bonuses are worth it either.
I want to know if this offer is solid: Data scientist 2 YOE Base: 119k Annual bonus: 51k RSUs: 207k/4 years
Have an interview with Quantumblack for senior data scientist consultingposition. Received a hackerrank and a quantumhub test. Can anyone tell me what to expect in the interviews?
Amex platinum with 150k welcome vs Hilton aspire with 200k welcome? Plat is 695+175 and aspire is 450+0 for second card. The fine hotels and resorts is sort of a difference for the platinum. Is it worth it?
How difficult is it to move into IB if you get into a Top 15 business school, but don’t have a finance background? In my case, my background is in B4 implementation work.
Anyone made a transition from FAANG to B4 or MBB at PPMD level? I understand that culture and WLB is different... but was the transition hard or easy? I am a senior leader with FAANG and exploring options. My background is in sales, delivery, solutions development etc, MBA and MS. Thank you.
I'm trying to leave my job in big 4 (2nd yr). But, I don't feel adequate enough to try for senior positions (even entry-level). I feel so 'cause I see myself as an impostor: I don't know what I'm doing. I went to univ. and I'm ashamed to have trouble remembering certain basic concepts. Somehow I just survived, yet this feeling still remains to this day. It's clear I am not fit to work here. TBH, I think I got it by luck. I'm frustrated trying to change jobs yet I feel like I'm not good.
Has anyone switched geographies (Low Cost to High Cost). Is it expected that your salary would be readjusted? Looking at a country switch.
Uber driver says I most be a very important person, just because I travel to work every week. And all I have to say is God bless his soul.
Really struggling mentally, client work slipping & my relationship with my SO is hard. I find it hard to get out of bed most days. My visa situation is unknown, I haven't seen family in two years and still recovering from a recent assault.. I just got dropped from my PRD (with my coach) for being flaky. I feel defeated. Anyone have advice on how to cope when struggling so much? I feel like life would be better if I didn't exist... FYI I'm already in therapy...
I have a student who did nothing the whole term, but passed the final exam with a 79. Should I pass him?
@MBB folks: Engagement manager at OW (US) with no MBA. I am considering shifting to MBB and moving to SoCal (ideally LA). Could a move like that work or need an MBA?
