Seems like you could get other options if you just continue recruiting for a couple more months instead of jumping on this one immediately
Yea I mean you probably get the most looks from recruiters/have the widest range of options to choose from when you’re still working at BCG (I guess that’s why so many people put ex-BCG on their LinkedIn lol), and also if the tech company valued you a lot why the low comp and title??
No go. London is more expensive so, net pay looks even worse. The job market is hot still, keep looking
You can’t avoid a paycut if you compare it to your current tax free income. You can wait out for a better opportunity (or it may never come) but you risk being stuck in the desert.
I would either take it now or transfer to the country or city of your choice and recruit from there.
Not even a discussion.. “go” wholeheartedly, especially if you are currently at an MBB in Dubai

Sounds like you can do better unless you really love London and need to get out of MENA. I’m in the region too and keep extending my time frame for staying because the money is so good.
Go. Exit ops in region are super limited. Take a look around and see where people have (or have not) gone. If you want to leave consulting / region, your options tend to be limited

I’m in MENA and made a good exit but I see many more good oops in the US than MENA.
No
That’s a hard no from me. 50% pay cut is extreme
As someone who has experience as chief of staff (twice) and going into consulting in the same region now, happy to share some of my experience/ learning if you want to message.
