Hey 🐠 fam, anyone here had interviews for product management roles? Any ideas on how to prep for it? Please help!
Hey everyone- So I didn’t get an offer for a consulting role that I had initially applied for, however the recruiter said all the feedback was positive and they’d like me to interview for a different role in the group. Are my chances of getting this other role a lot higher ? Thoughts? Thanks!
Does an interview invite often convert to an acceptance unless there is a clear disconnect on fit/interview execution?
When you go through 6 rounds of interviews but don't pass the final round 😔. Back to the job boards.
Hey Guys- Anyone working at Mastercard? I am appearing for an interview next week and just wanted to get an opinion regarding the company, career progression, appraisals etc. I have a 3.5 years experience with a consulting firm working as an Associate Consultant. What hike % should I expect? TIA, A frustrated soul.
Shower thought: the “do you have any questions for me?” Section of an interview is overly choreographed and has no value. Applicants ask questions to sound intelligent, whereas real questions should..
Has anyone gotten a take-home case while interviewing for fintech firms? Curious what types of questions they ask.
Does anyone have any experience at KPMG FDD practice in Houston office? Hours, culture, pay? I am interviewing for a Senior in FDD practice, any recommendations to prepare?

How long after final round big 4 interview for experienced hires do you usually hear back about an offer or rejection?
Received take home interview assignments for a startup where data is incomplete/nonsensical and I suspect this is done on purpose. I clarified with interviewer and they state to make assumptions with the dirty data. I totally understand the intent but this rubs me the wrong way. WWYD.
I have a 2 hour interview with an agency tomorrow for a freelance role. This is my first time speaking with them, a recruiter set me up with them last week and they liked me enough to want to meet me (!!) I’m meeting the members of the team individually which is why it’s so long, but do you think a 2 hour interview right off the bat is a good sign? Any tips for not burning out over the course of 2 hours?
I really appreciate when interviewers give feedback and don’t ghost. Just received a rejection email saying I interviewed well but didn’t have the experience. It’s a slight confidence boost for me.
I've been emailing back and forth with a recruiter. The last email was regarding scheduling a time for a phone interview. I responded soon after, but the correspondence has gone cold. I don't get it.

Anyone from Genpact here? Is the Genpact IT support so pathetic and good for nothing? I see my wife struggling to connect to client vpn for 2hr in the morning and when escalated to IT they just put her into another 2hrs of unproductive long queue in Zoom to connect to a support staff who has no idea on how to resolve the connectivity issue. This has been a daily excercise right after the pandemic hit.
Fellow 🐠: I’m 26 and contribute 7% + company matches up to 6% to my 401k, I currently have around $53,000 in my 401k. I was talking to uncle and he said I’m very behind and should start putting more in. Is he right, am i behind?
How much money would you personally need in your early 30s to: - retire and not work again? OR - work a very chill 9-5 job that basically lets you break even (no savings) but your principal is basically untouched (maybe you take some gains)
Can someone breakdown the prestige in finance? Like top rank is M&A, bottom rank is back office compliance. I’m at a family zoom gathering and I’m not following this conversation lol.
Is it possible to make a switch from Deloitte S&O to MBB? If yes, how should one apply and move forward? Thank you!

Have about 200k CSR points to blow. We’ve done the park Hyatt maldives which was a boss redemption (and trip). Any similar island/beach CSR uses that could be good for this 200k that folks have done?
At my new job, we’re told to get 8 billable hours of work a day on our timesheet. Even when I thought I had a lot to work on, the most I could get was 5 hours. I’m super stressed about getting in trouble, even though I have actively asked for more work. I was unemployed for 9 months during this pandemic and I now I’m super afraid of losing my job again. Is this a normal practice? Idk how I’ll ever consistently have that much work.

Is it better to get Scrum Master certification or PMP Certification? Or should I get both? Thank you.
Office H&S team still going overboard with those home office ergonomics emails. They just don’t get it that this is a change only for them since they’ve always been in the cozy cute decorated cubicles all this while. The rest of the workforce freaking grew up making slides and crunching numbers in coach class middle seats. Anything at home is a luxury.
